You know when you were a little kid and you dreamed of having dainty little tea parties in magical forests full of wild flowers? As bazaar as it sounds, my dream came true! The best part was that I didn't need to travel far and search high and low for a magical rainforest because Clark is just a few minute drive away. Dainty "Alice in Wonderland" tea parties are made real at G Café!
"Here at G Cafe, Good Food is our Language of Love"
Located in Berthaphil, Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga, settled nicely in the quiet work district and far from all the famous fast food chains stands the aesthetically beautiful G Café. This restaurant gem is quite hard to find if you're not roaming around the area looking for a good meal or distracted by the deep fried chicken joy. However this beautifully designed nook will catch the eye of any gal/guy and make you instantly curious of what's inside. Aside from the instagrammable storefront display, stepping inside the front door will instantly transport you to a magical tea party.

I visited G Café for dinner (around 7pm) which is why my photos don't completely justify the aesthetics. Imagine seeing it in the daytime with the light pouring out of the windows! An influencer's dream candid photo setup. The menu consists of an array of pastas, sandwiches, steaks, Filipino dishes and of course, yummy frappes and cakes to finish off the glorious meal. I felt like it was a pasta kind of night for me. I don't really have a default pasta dish I order at restaurants but I do fancy a hearty seafood meal which makes me feel healthy somehow with the "seafood" part. I ordered the Tuna Pasta (P280) and let me tell you, I didn't regret it one bit.

I'm mostly bad at ordering pastas I've never tried before but this was definitely a hit for me! The mixture of flavors complimented each other so well that every bite kept you wanting more. The balance of the tuna , spices and oils, olives and cherry tomatoes was just perfect. The olive oil kept the acidity levels of the tomatoes to a minimum and the olives weren't too overpowering like they usually are as toppings. The chili seeds brought just the right amount of heat. Toast is definitely a great combo with pastas and the perfect sponge to wipe up those last drops of goodness. Considering I was really hungry before I even arrived here, the amount that was plated satisfied my hangry-ness. I am no fancy food critic but I know that it was a good meal that I'll be coming back to again.
Now, the night wouldn't be complete without some sweets. As full as I was, I ordered a Green Tea Latte (P150) to wash the semi-healthy meal down. (Yes, I hopped onto the green tea bandwagon and I actually loved it. No forcing it or whatever.) Washing down a good meal with a good dessert can either perfect your night or send you home rushing to the toilet but I'm glad it was the former for me. Since I'm basically "banned" from any sort of teas (yes, my pearl milk tea heart is shattered) because of my stomach acidity, I can't go around tasting every restaurants milk tea anymore so I settle for the green tea frappes. It tasted like the usual creamy Matcha frappe with whipped cream and sprinkles on top. It had just the right amount of sweetness which kept me sipping it for 30 minutes. I must say, it's in my top 5 lattes.

In addition to the already scrumptious meal of mine, we ordered the Grilled Caesar Salad, Steamed Cream Dory topped w/ Ginger and Leeks, Sweet & Spicy Gambas Pasta, G Cafe Pork Steak, Cookies and Cream Frappe and Salted Caramel Frappe.
Our bill mounted to P1,700.
All in all, G Café offers an array of dishes of all flavors! The photo worthy interiors and fancy plating will boost anybody's happy mood (and social media profile). Delicious comfort food served at a dainty tea party is perfect for any family gathering or romantic date. Like @GCafeinClark on Facebook for more information!
